Floods, poor weather, #ukstorm and Crawley Town Football Club

An understatement to say the weather hasn’t been great over the past few weeks with many poor weather records being broken all over the UK.  As of today in February 2014 there are still many problems.  There are some horrendous floods here is a link to the latest Environment Agency flood map for the UK - http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/142151.aspx.  It is not now just in south west England that is affected by the flooding, Surrey, Berkshire, Wales, Worcester, parts of London and even Purley Souh Croydon are affected by floods.  We are just watching the One Show from Chertsey showing the flooding they are now talking about Shrewsbury which is on the River Severn, great concerns about peak river tides. 
One part of everyday life that has been affected by the weather problems have been sporting events.  The luxury pitches most of the Premier League teams enjoy are not reflected in the lower football leagues.  Many sporting events not just football have been affected by this #UKStorm, take a look on Twitter.  London Cool spoke to Crawley Town Football Club, after missing out on a number of training sessions and Crawley Town have had numerous games called off.  London Cool have helped out we hope to help make this Saturday 15th February game against Carlisle on and not rained off.  We have supplied them with 6 powerful industrial fans to help the Division one team get ready what is a waterlogged pitch is drier to play on this Saturday and have been gratefully mentioned on both the Crawley Town website and in an article in the Crawley News.   The link for the Crawley Town FC news is here http://www.crawleytownfc.com/news/article/carlisle-pitch-update-1356053.aspx

    If we go by inside/outside temperatures on a summer day, we will open the windows when it is cooler outside. But this can be a mistake if the inside is at a lower humidity than the outside ambient. The a/c will eventually have to work harder to extract humidity. There's probably an enthalpy equation that applies or maybe usage of a sling psychrometer but I'm looking for something I can actually use to minimize the a/c workload. pay a visit here
